Outreach Specialist
Job Description:

Outreach Specialist Duties:
Conduct outreach activities to listen to residents' concerns, goals and desires
Educate the community about the organization's mission, goals, and desired outcomes
Develop and implement strategies to engage potential supporters and volunteers
Engage residents at the door and at community events to gain feedback for the campaign
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and report generation
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse individuals and groups
Ability to engage in door-to-door outreach
Previous door-to-door or sales experience is a plus but not required
Expectations:
Meet and exceed voter contact and staff recruitment goals set by the campaign
Diligently manage volunteer database as instructed by the campaign
Provide and foster a welcoming and productive environment for staff and supporters
Support staff and supporters in all voter contact activities on a daily
Compensation:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Deputy/Regional Field Director
Job Description:
The Deputy Field Director will work directly the consultant team to execute an efficient and targeted ground campaign. The Field Director will be responsible for managing field staff, including a professional canvassing operation, as well as organizing local organizations and volunteers to build outreach capacity.

Deputy Field Director Duties:
Recruit and train staff
Train and manage staff and volunteers
Provide progress reports on strategic goals and organizational/advocacy activity daily
Track and monitor data for quality and trends of interest
Qualifications:
Minimum two cycles of campaign experience
Experience managing or working with a professional canvassing operation
Strong organizational, management, and interpersonal skills
Experience in setting and achieving measurable targets, managing teams, and coordinating between multiple stakeholders
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
Ability to execute strategic goals and work effectively with regional and local leaders
Experience with voter software, such as PDI or VAN preferred but not required
Expectations:

Grindstone Director
Job Description:
As a Director for Grindstone you will be responsible for managing field and/or canvass directors on multiple campaigns. You will work directly with campaign consultants, candidates and the Grindstone Team to ensure each campaign achieves their outreach goals
Location:
Sacramento, CA or remote
(Frequent travel within CA required)
Qualifications:
Minimum two cycles of management experience in campaigns, sales, or non-profit work
Experience managing or working with a professional canvassing operation
Strong organizational, management, and interpersonal skills
Experience in managing candidates or principle clients
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
Ability to execute strategic goals and work effectively with statewide, regional and local elected leaders
Experience with voter software, such as PDI or VAN preferred but not required
Expectations:
Create a positive and healthy work environment for each campaign
Diligently manage staff and follow HR procedures
Ensure quality training of staff to ensure time with each campaign contact is maximized
Compensation:
$7,000 – $9,000 a month
Canvass Director
Job Description:
The Canvass Director oversees day-to-day operations, recruits and manages staff in coordination with the consulting team. The Canvass Director must have excellent organizational skills, be professional, and have good interpersonal skills.

Canvass Director Duties:
Manage Day to Day Campaign Activities
Recruit and manage voter outreach staff
Provide progress reports on strategic goals and organizational/advocacy activity daily
Qualifications:
Minimum one cycle of campaign staff experience
Strong organizational, management, and interpersonal skills
Experience in setting and achieving measurable targets, managing teams, and coordinating between multiple stakeholders
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
Experience managing volunteer or paid outreach staff
Experience with voter software, such as PDI or VAN preferred but not required
Expectations:
Support communication between on the ground staff and consulting team
Diligently manage voter database as instructed by the campaign
Provide and foster a welcoming and productive environment for staff and supporters
Support staff and supporters in all voter contact activities
Compensation:
$5,500 – $6,500 a month
